Finding himself exiled to the wilds of Bakersfield, our hero has built a life of admirable quality here. He's also as excited about forensics (and by extension, the rest of the school year) than he's been in a long time. All this and comics, too! Voot!

Diplomatic efforts can be anything non-violent (whether that includes humanitarian aide is debatable): the six-nation talks with North Korea currently in the news is a good example. Hope that helps!
